Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Fludyers
Wind Direction: SSW
Wind Stength: F5/6
Surf / Sea State: Big chop
Air Temperature: 11
Sea Temperature: 11.8
Weather: light rain grey cloud
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Forecast to go West so rigged 76l/5,3m at Fludyers. Sea was big chop as wind fairly on shore. Getting spin out, which was related to mistakenly putting boom on very high, was Ok when lowered but I cannot figure why.
After about half and hour changed down to 4.7m as wind climbed and had an other good half hour as swells increased with best faces to gybe on by the lobster pots and close to shore near high tide, and could only get round in front of bigger swells as wind strong, getting thrown a couple of times. Gave up when wind too strong in chop and tide about to turn, and rain started to get miserably heavy. Enjoyed the sail and pleased some nice gybes came off in testing conditions.
Dropped by Dip where sea looked very good and wind close to shore, so didn't go West as early as forecast and guess that's why Fludyers was so big a chop. Got a text from Strawbery who was around but we missed each other, hope he got out and should have good time at Dip.
